I am still working my way through the sermon on the mount, and I was just reading now, as I rehydrate. As I was reading I got to a verse that struck me.
Mathew 7:7-8 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
When I was reading this the words that caught me were "every one". What a wonderful promise! If we ask the Lords forgiveness, it is a done deal, He cannot lie. If we seek him we will find him. WILL find him, the promises of God are sure. I am thankful that the Holy Spirit continues to lead me to ask, seek, and knock, desiring the free salvation that God gives through Jesus Christ. Amen.
P.S. I wrote that I was rehydrating as reading the bible... well, I guess I was rehydrating both body and soul!
