Act 2:38-39
38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
Hello, I have been studying baptism for years now, and I have finally come to a conclusion on what I believe. I believe that baptism is indeed for infants also. When I started to question it, I didn't know what to believe and there is so much information on the Internet. I got confused, and what I really should have done is close my web browser, and open my bible. In the end, the Lord showed me through his word and through a well written and scriptural book that infant baptism is right and good. The book is called, Baptized into God's Family, and the author is
A. Andrew Das. It was an excellent book, and I highly recommend it. The thing I love the most is all the scripture! You can order this book and WWW.NPH.NET. If you look up the author's name, it will come right up. I will be adding more scriptures to this as I add posts speaking about infant baptism. For now, God bless you as you seek him in all you do. Amen.

hmmmmm thats interesting. my mom had me babtized when i was an infant. then my grandmother decided it wasn't good enough and got me babtized as a child. then when i got saved i did it again. then after i backslid and rededicated my life i got babtised again. i guess you could say i'm covered ;-)
i usually let our kids decide when their ready, but i don't think there's anything wrong with babtising babies. in some churches they dedicate them as children and babtise them later when they understand the full meaning. anyway, interesting observations you are presenting :-)
I am just getting the hang of this and I moderated your comment before I had read it completely! Silly me! I have had to do a Lot of studying to come to a conclusion about this. The important thing to me is to do the thing that pleases Christ, no matter what any church teaches. I can honestly say I never have met anyone with 4 baptisms! As I understand it, your first baptism had you completely covered though.;)
