Welcome

Welcome to my new blog spot. I recently have seen so many useful and wonderful blogs, and thought that this may be a great way for me to work through all the questions, ideas, and searchings that I need to do in my walk with my Savior Jesus Christ, in managing my home, and in so many other things. This may be a wonderful way for me to work through so many questions I have, and share that process with others who may also benefit, or start asking themselves similar questions. I should introduce myself. I am almost 30, and a stay at home mom with two children. They are in school, the older is 7 in second grade, and the younger is 5 in kindergarten. My husband has decided that homeschooling is not an option for us at this time, so I must keep myself busy keeping my home a haven for the family when they are at school. My husband is a wonderful man, who turned 35 this year and has served in the military for almost 12 years now. He is a good father who takes an interest in the children, and their upbringing. He is considerate, and doesn't raise his voice or hand in anger. Truly he is a gift of God, and I hope to bless him and serve him well so he will know that I love him. We were married in the summer of 1999. I am looking forward to the upcoming ninth anniversary of being married to him. We just moved to a rural home in our Northern Tier state, less than 30 miles from the Canadian border. The winters here are cold, (Think nothing of a couple of weeks with highs in the -10's) but the school is small. Only three children in my daughters class, and only 10 in the 1st and 2nd combined class. The teachers are concerned and are able to give the 1 on 1 attention that all children deserve. Since they can't be schooled in the home, I am so thankful that they can be in a very small school. Rural living is wonderful, no midnight parties, and so much room to run and play. Woods, fields, birds, deer, farms, ponds, sunrise, sunset, and living the rhythm of the seasons created by God, it is wonderful. Well I am sure you will learn more about me as this blog grows, but for now I will log off.
