Psalm 119

Wow, I am to the longest book of the chapter in the bible, and I am going to study it in segments. I just got finished reading ALEPH, which I will call the first paragraph. It speaks about how blessed the people are who walk in the way of the LORD. One verse in particular hit me. Verse 6 says, "Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all of thy commandments." This reminds me of something I have learned and been reminded of. It is a blessing to obey God. When trust in the Lord with all my heart, and do his will, I find that my life is full of peace and joy, no matter what is going on in my life or the world around me. Why then don't I follow what I am suppose to do? It is a stupid thing on my part really. I am going to try to follow in the ways of the LORD in my life. Not to earn anything from God, but because of how wonderful HE is, and how much I enjoy living when I obey him. Lord Jesus, please strengthen me to honor you in every thought word and action, that my life may please you, and bless others. Amen.
